  1. Setting Up Your Kitchen

Healthy living revolves around healthy eating. In order to optimize your health and fitness, nutrition is of the utmost importance. Fast food and food on the go from gas stations and convenient stores will get you dirty skin, a fat belly and an addiction for junk food. If you don't want to end up a statistic on obesity, like 1 out of 3 adults in the US, then you are going to need to ditch the fast food and snacks loaded with sugar and carbs. Getting in the groove of healthy living is made much easier with a kitchen tailored to help you achieve your goals. Now you don't have to remodel your kitchen, or change the flooring, or buy a new refrigerator and "setting up your kitchen" will not cost you an arm and a leg. This is what you do. Make sure you have these 3 things; a blender, a juicer and a source of clean (pure) water. Having a blender in your kitchen is significant because any clean living plan incorporates many shakes and soups. I recommend using a high speed, durable blender. Ju

  2. Sarah's Health & Fitness Blog #10

In one of my last entries, I mentioned that I’ve yet to try the new Life Fitness 95T Series treadmills that I have heard rave reviews about and that I was going to test one out the next time I go to the gym. They’re coming inside in droves, from their jogging and walkin

  3. Feel Young, Active & Attractive! The Secret To Being Your Best!

People always ask what the secret to staying young is. I think the reason they ask is because they are just lazy. I mean, who doesn't know that the way to keep that stomach flat and thighs tight is through exercise and physical fitness? Eating well, staying out of the sun, and taking good care of your skin are all other factors in the equation of staying young, however, none of them are as critical as working out. Go to the gym. Get home fitness equipment. Develop an exercise routine that has structure to it. Create goals. If you truly enjoy feeling and looking young, you must maintain the mental and physical discipline to exercise regularly.

  4. How To Choose A Fitness Program

Its summertime and you’re starting to realize you need to work off some of those “winter” pounds. But where do you start? Home gym? Gym membership? Fitness center? Recreation Center? Personal trainer? Before you whip out your credit card and pay the first down payment on your physical fitness, consider the following steps to take in assessing your next step: Goal, budget, routine and equipment. Goal – What’s my “goal”? Am I trying to get in shape for now or am I making a lifestyle change? If you’re trying to “get in shape” then just start a walking, biking and home exercise routine. Fitness needs to become a lifestyle change if you want to see your body respond as desired. While there’s nothing wrong with wanting to get in shape, staying fit through a planned fitness regiment (at home or at the gym) is a more desirable goal. Once you answer this question for yourself then start the process of choosing
