Cybex 610A Arc Trainer (Remanufactured)

This product has been factory remanufactured by certified Cybex technicians. All machines start off as used product that have been reacquired from trade shows, consumers and gyms. Each unit is completely disassembled down to the bare frame. Nearly all machines are sandblasted and powder coated with factory paint as needed. Broken or worn internal parts are replaced and any reused parts and shrouds are cleaned. Before reassembly, each machine is professionally tuned and detailed by our trained technicians. The end product is a machine that is aesthetically appealing and mechanically sound. We back our workmanship with a strong warranty.

The Cybex 610A Arc Trainer is a commercial grade, professional trainer, designed to give its users a total body workout. With a comfortable 24" stride length that perfectly mimics the natural running motion of its users, the Cybex 610A will give you an intense, calorie burning, gut-busting workout, all while protecting your knees and hips. The Arc Trainer's stride motion that provide the user with an impact free workout is an order of magnitude better for your joints than running outside on the street.

What is the difference between the Cybex 610A and regular elliptical trainers? For one, the 610A has a drive system based upon the arc pattern of movement that defines its bio-mechanics, versus the running motion of the elliptical trainer, which moves around in an elipse. When you exercise on an elliptical, the foot pedals move around in an ellipse orbit, until it realizes the apex of its pattern.

For some, inferior elliptical machines do not mimic their stride length naturally and having to manipulate the pedals to reach a comfortable stride, is too tough. Pushing the pedals to their apex never actually happens while you are walking or running naturally. On the other hand, arcuating the movement of the foot plates like the Arc Trainer does, provides users with a more fluid and non-pressurized, organic stride.

The foot plate technology is the key. Arc trainers maintain a level foot plate, versus a tilting foot plate on an elliptical machine. The level foot plate of the Arc optimizes the amount of resistance we put on our hamstrings, quads and glutes, producing and efficient and effective calorie burning workout. The more active our hamstrings, glutes and quads are, the more energy they need, which leads to an increase in oxygen intake and calories getting burned. 

•  The Cybex 610a Arc Trainer combines elements of a climber, cross-trainer and cross-country skier, and, like other Cybex arc trainers, it’s designed to give the least amount of stress on joints while maintaining the highest level of performance. This machine offers all of the award winning features of the 600A Arc Trainer, but adds arm handles conveniently designed with grips that enable you to put emphasis on either upper or lower body muscles.

• This is the patented Same Side Forward (SSF) configuration, which allows you to maintain correct posture at any degree of ramp incline. The high intensity user can lean forward without placing excess stress on the back. The reciprocal movement of the footplates allows for an accurate foot path in a natural (arc) motion, creating a relaxed feel. Four-bar linkage input arms keep the footplates at a constant angle with the floor – thereby reducing stress on the foot and ankle.
